This lesson is an example of the type of resource that can be found in Pack 09/144. The full pack contains 16 comprehensive practical examples of learning and teaching covering a range of topics from Standard Grade to Higher (Accounts, Administration, Business Management and Economics), which incorporate assessment techniques such as traffic lights; thought showering; think, pair share; self/peer marking.
The examples in the pack should help to spark ideas on how to incorporate assessment techniques into learning and teaching.
All resources are provided, many of which will also be usable outwith the context of the pack - e.g. video clips of all Intermediate 1 WP skills, travel mindmap, hot potatoes quizzes on reprographics and a product quality Powerpoint presentation.

Hot Potatoes software enables the creation of Crosswords, Gapfill, Multiple Choice, Matching and Jumble exercises. Each exercise type is showcased in this free demonstration, using content from INT1, INT2 and Higher Administration. To run these exercises there is no requirement for you to have a licence or any additional software. All you need is an internet browser (but live internet access is NOT required). Hot Potatoes files can be placed on your School/College network and copied to individual drives as required.
